Alan and Kevin were stars, standing out in the pouring rain and howling gale at the top of [insert most Cols] to cheer us in was above and beyond the call of duty! Hotels were perfectly satisfactory and lots of carbs. The vans stocked with goodies is a masterstroke – nothing like knowing there’s a handful of Caramelised nuts (or whatever is your favourite) at the top of the climb.
