Yes, they really are - in fact, nearly half of our places have been booked already! We've been delighted with the interest shown in our three new tours, but there are still places to be snapped up if you're thinking about any of these itineraries. Some things you might want to consider ...
If you've already cycled in the French Pyrenees, don't discount our revised Pyrenean Classic Cols itinerary - it really is quite special. Every day of this flexible-pace tour is a truly wonderful bike ride. We've redesigned the itinerary and while you might recognise some sections of the route, we've also added some wonderful new climbs, giving you the chance to experience even more beautiful cycling on offer in the Pyrenees.
Just last week, we were thrilled to see that the Tour de France organisers have included the Hourquette d'Ancizan in next year's Pyrenean stage - a stunning climb that we include on this new tour. If you're interested in joining us, then we've currently got space on these departures:
5th - 12th July
31st July - 7th August, and
20th - 27th August.
Our tour with a new format - still in the Pyrenees but this time with a punch! We've had a few questions about this tour of late so we thought we'd answer these here, in case you were wondering the same ...
1. Is it a raid?
No, it's not a raid, because we've designed the route ourselves, rather than it be the work of a French cycling club, as is often the case with raids. However, the cycling each day is still tough, though less of a challenge than on the raids we offer.
2. Are there route options?
No, everyone on the tour will ride a single route each day, but you'll be able to ride at your own pace, without the pressure of keeping up with faster riders. With two of our expert and fun guides and well kitted-out vans, we're able to support every rider, regardless of your pace. This is your holiday, and your personal cycling challenge, and our guides are highly skilled at being able to support you as an individual.
3. Who is this tour for?
If you've been thinking about doing a raid but are worried it would be too tough, then we've crafted this route with you in mind. Likewise, if you've conquered a raid or two and/or like a set challenge, this tour might appeal to you too.
The best thing to do? Check out the daily ride profiles and climb stats, so you can see exactly what you'll be taking on and get in touch if you have any queries. At present, we have availability on these departure dates:
7th - 16th June
16th - 25th June, and
13th - 22nd September.
It was an easy win when it came to naming our new trip - it really is the Ultimate Tour of the Dolomites! Across six days, you'll experience infamous climbs, descents and passes used in the Giro, Sellaronda and Maratona, all with the jaw-dropping views that the Dolomites are known for. Each day you'll be blown away by the majesty of the landscape in this region.
It's a given that we've included all the Sellaronda passes, but we also give you the chance to 'enjoy' them from different directions. At the time of writing, we've got space on these departures:
13th - 20th June
4th - 11th July, and
29th August - 5th September.
Do read the full itinerary for each tour mentioned above and as ever, please get in touch with our team who can help you with any queries you might have, such as how the cycling compares to another trip, for example.
If you're still thinking of escaping with a group of mates for a cycling tour next year, then these are our tours with the greater number of spaces available at the moment.
If it's a raid cycling challenge you're keen on, then look at either our:
Est. 1950, the iconic, 100 hr challenge traversing the French Pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. A must-do for cyclists who love a medal! There's good availability on our 3rd - 9th June departure. Or how about the epic ...
The classic, long-distance randonnée cycling north to south along the spine of the Alps from the shore of Lake Geneva to Nice. Space available on our tour running from 25th July - 1st August.
Or would you prefer a tour where you have a choice of routes each day? Then check out these awesome, flexible-pace trips, which are perfect for groups where riders might have a mix of abilities, or holiday aspirations:

There's such a wealth of wonderful cycling in the region that we introduced our third, flexi-pace Alpine tour in 2024 and since then, it's been appreciated by many Marmot clients. The Col de la Loze, Col du Tra, Col de Joux Plane and the Col des Aravis are just a few of the wonderful rides included in this tour. If you'd like to come with us as a larger group, then these departures have more space:

If you live somewhere with cooler temperatures right now, you might be like us and missing the sunny days of spring and summer. Our winter cycling tours to the Canary Islands are on the horizon and they're the perfect escape to break up the gloomy months before spring arrives - and a great way to get your legs warmed-up for the cycling season ahead.
Whether it's Gran Canaria - think Valley of the Tears and Pico de las Nieves - or Tenerife with Mount Teide and its uniquely beautiful volcanic geography, we've got you sorted.
This cycling tour is perennially popular and if you come with us, you'll see why! Six days of riding, staying in excellent hotels, with exceptional support from our Spanish speaking guides. We've got limited availability on our tours departing
22nd February - 1st March
11th - 18th March, and
18th - 25th March.
Tenerife is equally impressive as a winter cycling destination, and we've crafted this tour so that the cycling is slightly less challenging that on our Gran Canaria trip. We've got availability on our 3rd - 10th March tour.
While we currently have availability on all four of our departures, these trips have a tendency to fill up between now and the end of November, so act quick if you want to secure your place. Simply get in touch by clicking the ENQUIRE NOW button from either trip's web page, drop us an email or give us a call on +44(0)1373 830409.
Have you checked out the route yet? The consensus in Team Marmot was that it was an interesting one, and we love it! We're especially pleased to see the focus on the Northern French Alps and Cévennes & Ardèche regions. We were also pleased to find out that none of our cycling holidays are impacted by any clashes or road closures - always a relief when the route is announced!
In true Marmot Tours style, we've put together a round-up of our tours which include the climbs covered by next year's Tour, in case you want to experience them for yourself. Here are those tours to consider ...
Stage 11 (14th July) Col de la Colombière, Col de la Croix Fry, Col du Pré, and Les Saisies. Climb these cols yourself on our Northern French Alps flexible-pace tour with multiple routes to choose from each day. All but the Col de la Croix Fry are included in Raid Alpine too.
Stage 14 (17th July) Cirque de Navacelles, Col de la Lusette, Mont Aigoual, and Col de la Croix Neuve. Some wonderful climbs which feature on either our flexible-pace Cévennes & Ardèche tour, or on the Raid du Massif Central challenge.
Stage 18 (22nd July) Col du Soulor, Col du Tourmalet, and Hourquette d'Ancizan - the beautiful Pyrenees. Our new Atlantic to Mediterranean Challenge, and our Pyrenean Classic Cols revised itinerary feature all three of these cols! The Raid Pyrenean includes the Tourmalet and the Soulor.
