We all know how lucky we are, and how many opportunities we have been able to follow in our lives; opportunities in education, sport, relationships and careers. Help us to try and give just a little bit back by supporting this passionately run charity who fund a host of youth projects around the UK. Their projects are “hands on” and deliver direct help to young people via a sporting, educational or cultural route.
Road Cycling for Charity with Marmot Tours
Our Raid Challenges give both you and us the perfect opportunity to make a difference to the lives of these young people with the help of WWMT. Marmot Tours has pledged to donate £25 to the charity for each client who signs up to fundraise on their Raid. The WWMT will benefit both from your sponsorship donations and our pledge. We are also donating £50 from any deposits that we retain when a client cancels. We hope that we can directly raise a good sum for them, but we need as many of you to sign up to fundraise as possible if we are to reach our campaign target of £5000.
We have aMarmot Tours Campaign Pageusing ‘Virgin Money Giving’, to which you can easily link an individual page for your own sponsorship as per ourinstructions. It takes just a few minutes to get set up, attach a photo and then you can send out your page link to friends and family.
They will not fail to be impressed by the fact that you are taking on a Raid Challenge (yes, it will also give you bragging opportunities!) and will hopefully be persuaded to sponsor you.
Sponsored Cycling Challenge: Most of the Work is Already Done!
Remember that much of the hard work of organising a fundraising sporting event is already done; Marmot is doing the organising and you have already booked on the Raid of your choice, so all that is left is to link to the charity and appeal to those around you!
Doing a sponsored Raid couldn’t be easier; at least until you get on the bike 😉
If you are not interested in doing your Raid for charity but would like to make a donation to WWMT then please go through to ourCampaign page
