Ears still ringing and legs still aching from our recent visit to le Tour de France, we thought it only right to share with you some of our highlights from an AMAZING week of cycling on our Tour de France based ‘Classic Cols’ of the Alps trip.
The carnival atmosphere of le Tour is infectious, and with the roadsides and villages packed full of eager spectators (some of whom had staked their claim on their little piece of the mountain and had been there for weeks!) our group, along with scores of other cycling fans from all corners of the globe, were clapped, cheered and encouraged up every hill.
With lots of riding on offer, including the fan-favourites of the Telegraphe, Galibier, Madaleine, Croix de Fer and the now-famous Lacets de Montvernier, alongside some serious TDF partying, there were options to suit everyone.
