Our road cycling tours are booking up!
Our European road cycling tours are filling up at a pace! This is just a gentle nudge that if you’ve been considering a tour, we advise getting in touch soon. We hate to turn cyclists away due to being fully booked! What’s more, when asked what prevents you from making a booking, some of you have told us that there isn’t always availability, so we’re giving you the heads up now!
It’s especially important to enquire now if you’d like to reserve a single room or would like to rent one of our hire bikes. Both of these are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. It’s also important to enquire now if you’d like to book as a group.
Some of our tours with the greatest availability, so the most suitable for larger group bookings are:
Club des Cinglés du Mont Ventoux Challenge 17 – 20 May
Pyrenean Foothills 25 May – 1 June
Pyrenean Classic Cols 30 May – 6 June
Slovenia and Mont Zoncolan 14 – 21 June
Alpine Classic Cols 23 – 30 August.
However, please do get in touch with our team if you’ve got a query about any of our holidays. They’ll be able to give you the latest availability, plus advice on whether the tour would meet your requirements and match your cycling goals.
Ways to save money: discounts on our road cycling holidays
Remember that you’ll qualify for our 5% Early Bookers’ Discount for trips departing after June 2025 if you book soon! Also, if you get 10 or more riders together as a group, you’ll qualify for a 7.5% group discount. As the group organiser, you’ll also receive a £150 voucher for your next holiday!
Finally, flight prices are still relatively low. If you act quickly and reserve a place on one of our cycling holidays soon, you’ll have the best chance of securing the most cost-effective travel, before prices start to rise in the spring.
Our team are waiting to hear from you! Just click the ENQUIRE NOW button from the tour webpage you’re most interested in, or give us a call at +44 (0)1373 830409.
Celebrating our donations to our 1% For The Planet partners this year
Drum roll please … It gives us great pleasure to confirm that in 2024, we donated just shy of £22,000 to our 1% For the Planet Partners! That’s 1% of our revenue, not profits! We donated a whopping £16,000 of this to Gold Standard to support verified carbon avoidance projects.
We calculate and balance the greenhouse gas footprint of all your air travel through our partnership with Gold Standard. From the moment you step on the plane, to the moment you land back on home tarmac, we calculate and balance your holiday carbon.
We measure all of the greenhouse gases produced in our operations; those generated by our staff, our offices, travel, hotel bookings, van mileage and more. We then reduce as much of these as possible each year, whilst continuing to provide our awesome cycling holidays. Residual emissions are 100% balanced through verified world-class schemes, by supporting verified carbon avoidance projects via our partner Ecologi. So far, via our partnership with Ecoogi, we’ve funded the planting of 1,000 trees and have avoided 100 tonnes of Co2e!
Planting a new forest and turning the tide on plastic pollution
We divided the remaining £6,000 between our charity partners: Avon Needs Trees (helping them to buy a farm so they can plant the new Lower Chew Forest), City to Sea, Surfers Against Sewage and The Rivers Trust.
Finally, we also recycled 60kgs of rubber from used tyres and tubes to Velorim. They have over 600 collection points all over the UK, so by dropping off your used tyres and tubes, you too can help make cycling green and benefit the environment. For those in the UK, why not check out if there’s a collection point near you?
