Hello Spring! Are you as excited as we are about the cycling season approaching?!
It’s been a while since we’ve been in touch but we’re now coming out of hibernation and emerging from our planning cave. After months of preparation, and with three winter road cycling tours in the Canary Islands under our belt, we’re ready for our annual Team Marmot training in the French Pyrenees next week, and then the klaxon sounds on our Spring/Summer trips!
We hope you’ll enjoy this newsletter 🙂

2027 Full support road cycling tours – get in touch!
We’re making final adjustments to our schedule of awesome road cycling itineraries for Spring/Summer 2027. It really is like trying to complete a Rubik’s Cube … estimating when our riders want to go on their cycling holiday, and which trips will be most popular; waiting for (read ‘persuading’!) hotels to confirm availability a year in advance; speculating which airlines will still be offering flights (fun!), and more. But we’re nearly there!
We hope to publish our 2027 cycling tours on our website in the coming weeks, when they’ll be available for booking. Until then, if there’s a particular tour and/or date that you’re interested in, please get in touch and we’ll see if your request fits with our schedule.

Road cycling holidays in Gran Canaria & Tenerife
Our 2027 cycling holidays in the Canary Islands are available for booking! If you want to bag yourself a winter getaway, read on …
Cycling Tour of Gran Canaria
We’ve got three departures for this spectacular tour: 22nd February – 1st March, 11th – 18th March, and 18th – 25th March.

Cycling Tour of Tenerife & El Teide
Our excellent Tenerife trip is running from 3rd – 10th March 2027.

These tours always fill up quickly, so don’t hesitate to let us know if you’re keen to come with us next year! Just click ENQUIRE NOW from the tour webpage, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Remember that you can provisionally put your name down and we can reserve your space for a while, before we ask you to pay your deposit. We know you like to research the best travel options so we try to make it as easy as possible for you to do so.
The lucky riders who each bagged a place on our tours earlier this year had a fantastic time, by all accounts. Despite some unseasonal challenging weather on a few days, the feedback we’ve had – and the photos taken from our guides – showed a lot of happy cyclists!
Marmot Tours x Stolen Goat cycling gear
WHOOP WHOOP! We’re delighted to announce our cycling kit collab with Stolen Goat! We’ve launched our online shop with a small but exclusive, limited-edition collection and if this proves popular, we’ll be adding more kit to our range throughout the year.
As a certified B Corp™ and 1% For The Planet member, we think very (very) carefully about everything we buy and about every company with whom we do business. Sadly, you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to find custom cycling kit that met all our requirements. We wanted premium quality which also adhered to our stringent sustainability criteria. We’re also up against the export challenge imposed since Brexit – many suppliers just don’t want to export to the EU anymore. Finding a supplier who ticked all these boxes was a herculean task.

However, after many years (yes, you read that right: years!) trying to find a solution, the team at Stolen Goat has risen to the challenge. We’ve designed our first pieces of kit and found a solution which we hope works for everyone. Not only that, Stolen Goat’s excellent customer service and willingness to go the extra mile meant we were confident trusting them to look after our VIPs – that’s all of you and your gear!
How it works
All our jerseys and gilets are made-to-order, produced in small batches on demand and ordered directly from Stolen Goat. You can place an order to receive your kit before going on your Marmot Tours holiday to wear with pride on your trip, or order when you get home – the choice is yours. Please ensure you take note of the order window, so you know when to order and expect delivery of your garments. The icing on the cake? There’s free shipping for all orders over £50 – that’s all jerseys and gilets! International shipping rates vary by country so shipping options and prices will be calculated at checkout for our international customers.
Need help finding your size?

The sizing guide in the online shop is accurate and helpful – we’ve road tested the sizes ourselves, to make sure! PLUS we’ve added the customary ‘Marmot Magic’: to make it even easier for you, we include sample sizes of men’s and women’s jerseys and gilets in our vans, so when on holiday with us, you can try them on for size, feel the quality and decide if the designs float your boat. There will also be a link to the online shop in our Route Buddy app, and we hope this will be there very soon.
DISCOUNT ON CYCLING GEAR!
To say thank-you for holidaying with us, we’ll give you a £10 voucher code to be redeemed in our online shop! In fact, we’ll give you a £10 voucher code for every trip you book, so you might have several chances to claim some discount off our cool kit! If you’ve already booked your 2026 cycling holiday, you might have already seen the post about this in The Link in the ‘Important Holiday Updates’ section. If you haven’t yet booked a trip this year and you’re going to, we’ll give you the discount code when we confirm your booking (you’ll be able to see the limited terms and conditions of using the voucher code in The Link).

How to order
- Hop over to our dedicated online shop, to browse the range.

- Count down the days until your lovely new kit arrives.

Late availability European cycling tours in 2026
Are you still hoping to get away on a cycling holiday this year but have been holding off booking? We’ve got a smidgen of places left on less than a handful of tours. These awesome trips have a few spots remaining:
Pyrenean Classic Cols cycling holiday 26th June – 3rd July. 4 places left.

Classic Cols of the Southern Alps road cycling tour 11th – 18th July. 4 places left.

Northern French Alps road cycling tour 12th – 19th July. 4 places left.

Catalonia & Girona road cycling holiday 5th – 12th October. 12 places left.

These are all fantastic itineraries, and follow our classic, flexible pace format. You can ride at your own pace, and choose from at least two routes every day, depending on how much you want to push yourself. The beauty of our holidays is that you’ll always be able to find other cyclists who want to ride at a similar pace to yourself, and who have similar holiday goals. What’s more, our awesome guides are there to support you throughout the week, and to help you get the most out of your holiday.
Please note, the number of free places quoted above is accurate at the time of publication (30th April 2026), so don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you’d like to put your name down. Just click ENQUIRE NOW from the relevant tour webpage and we’ll be back in touch just as soon as we can.
If you haven’t seen it yet, you must check out our blog published in January this year and penned largely by Marmot guide Constantin: RAIDS: A complete guide. All you need to know and more! This is especially important if you’ve booked a raid cycling challenge for 2026, but also if you’re waiting for our 2027 tour dates to be launched and you’re thinking of attempting a raid in 2027. Enjoy!
